Rules

There is really only one, and everything below is a clarification of it: you play alone.

1. Solo means solo

Teams are disabled server-side, so you cannot form one even if you want to. The rules exist for everything the game can't switch off:

Meeting someone at a monument and not shooting them is not teaming. Running with them for an hour is.

2. No cheating, ever

Cheats, scripts, macros that automate play, and exploiting bugs all end the same way: a permanent ban with no appeal.

3. Don't be vile

Racism, slurs, and harassment get you removed. Trash talk is part of Rust; this isn't that.

4. One account

Alt accounts used to get around a ban, hold extra bases, or work around the solo rule are treated as the same offence as teaming.

How this is enforced

Deliberately by people, not scripts. The server flags likely teaming for staff to review, and a human decides. That means we can tell the difference between two strangers fighting at Water Treatment and two players quietly running a base together — an automated system cannot.

It also means enforcement is not instant. If you see teaming, report it to staff with names and a rough time, and it will be looked at.
